Beth HavenBaptist Church

We see a church eager, joyful, and faithful in gathering for corporate worship, insistent that the gospel be at the center of our praying, singing, and giving.

About BHBC

Our Vision

  • We see a church empowered by the Holy Spirit and directed by the Word of God, a church equipped to navigate the powerful crosswinds of our post-Christian culture while remaining faithful to the faith.

  • We see a church moving forward on its knees, facing mountain-sized problems with mountain-moving faith in the promises of God; a faith that acts courageously, that breaks the status quo and moves beyond what is comfortable in order to do what is humanly impossible for the glory of God.

  • We see each member treasuring Jesus Christ supremely, pursuing the knowledge of Christ personally and privately through regular, focused time in the Word and prayer; we see our church undistracted by our digital age and letting go of the American dream; we see a transformation of values and priorities that reflects those of the kingdom of God.

  • We see a church eager, joyful, and faithful in gathering for corporate worship, insistent that the gospel be at the center of our praying, singing, and giving; we see a church interpreting every topic and text in light of the Story of Scripture and refusing to settle for anything less than the preaching of Jesus Christ crucified and risen again.

  • We see a church alive and ablaze with the presence of God; it is our dream that believers and unbelievers alike would encounter Him in our presence and be able to see the glorious Person and work of Christ on display with high-definition clarity in everything we do and say.
