Pastor Kerry is passionate about making Christ known at Beth Haven Baptist Church and in the Simpsonville community. His philosophy of ministry is based on the apostle Paul’s words in Colossians 1:28-29: [We proclaim Christ], warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me. To that end Kerry’s focus is on feeding the flock of God through preaching that is biblical, expositional, pastoral, and applicational. He longs to see the Word at work in people’s lives, transforming them into the image of Christ. He has a Doctor of Ministry degree, teaches homiletics, blogs at preachingandpreachers.com, and is an avid reader and technophile. He also loves spending time with his wife, Anna Grace, and their three daughters: Erika, Charisse, and Keira.
